I’ve been a shopaholic since I was 15…and I’ve been in shopping heaven ever since.

I’m wife to G, a mum of two children, two cats and a puppy. I’m a Retail Management graduate – yep I have a degree in shopping folks!  I’m a self taught shopaholic, it’s what I do best.  If they had black belts in shopping I’d have one – altho I was recently treated to a Gucci belt for my 40th though so I guess that’s that box ticked.

4 years ago I became a stylist for Stella and Dot.  It came after 4 years of being a stay at home mum – I’ll never forget that day – painting the fences in the garden (it took me 9 days – NINE days I tell you!!) with the kids screaming at me from the back door – they were 4 and 2 at the time – thinking man there has to be more to life than painting fences and changing nappies.

I was also still wearing my maternity clothes (we’ve all done it or still doing it) and had totally lost my way style wise.  Being a stylist gave me back my confidence – it got me out the house, I spoke to grown ups, we drank, we shopped, we played dress up – and slowly but surely I got my style back.

Fast forward to today and for some time friends had been commenting – your insta posts really make me laugh, they’re so true (I do tell it like it is), I love what you’re wearing, I wish I had the guts to wear that, where did you get that, can you help me find an outfit, oh will you style me H?

So there you have it – Style Me H was born – and in March this year I qualified as a personal stylist with the Nicky Hambleton Jones Style Academy. I’m just getting started – going solo is a scary business but I know in my heart this is what I want to do and if I can help you in anyway then I’ll have followed my dream and made it come true…whether your here for the style tips, my styling services or grabbing a cuppa to read my blogs, it’s nice to have you along for the ride.
